The Grounds of Alexandria

TRIALS ARE OVER. Craziest and busiest few weeks of my life. To celebrate the end of trials, a friend and I visited the most photogenic and most instagrammed cafe I have ever been to, The Grounds of Alexandria.

WE MADE IT
We caught a train to Green Square, and walked about 10 minutes to the cafe. We got there around 10am on a friday, but the queue was already long, and we waited about 20 minutes for a table for two. There was also an outdoors bit to the cafe, where there was a barbecue and sold pastries and that sort of thing, for those that didn't want to queue.

Outdoor bit
It was also a little bit like a mini farm- there were chickens and pigs and a play area for children! The atmosphere is definitely very very cool and unique.

Queue for the Cafe

I ordered the breakfast board, which had two poached eggs, ham, avo, tomato and sourdough. It was extremely filling, and the sourdough was pretty good. From memory it was around $18. Everything was yummy and service was fast.
